Susanne Stilwell

Susanne Stilwell, cherished mother, devoted Oma, and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on September 18, 1960, in Bonn, Germany, she touched countless lives across multiple continents with her unwavering kindness, fierce loyalty, and warm heart.

Having spent her childhood between Germany, Africa, and Japan, Susanne was a worldly woman who was impossible to beat in Jeopardy. Her laughter was contagious, her wisdom profound, and her love unconditional. The bond she shared with her granddaughters, especially Olivia, was deep and full of joy, love attacks, and fits of giggles.

She is survived by her daughter Rachel (John) Schaeve, granddaughters Olivia (8) and Emma (1), brother Christian (Dagny) Zimmermann, mother Ursula Zimmermann, and many extended family members and dear friends.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life during a memorial service on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:00am at Ascension Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to SSM Health at Home Foundation of Wisconsin, an organization that provided great comfort in her last weeks, in her memory.

Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will remain a guiding light in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Rest in peace, Susanne. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.
