Steven J. Klumpyan

Steven J. Klumpyan, 70, of Dundee passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on September 26, 1953 in Fond du Lac, the son of Mathias and Helen (Riggs) Klumpyan.

On June 7, 1986 Steven was united in marriage to Barb Ramthun at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eden. Steve served in the U.S. Army from 1971 – 1978. Steve worked for Fond du Lac Stone as a stone cutter and then became a truck driver for Dundee Sand and Gravel until his retirement.

Steve was a volunteer fireman for Eden Fire Department for 30 years. He loved to watch his grandkids participate in sports and school events. Steve’s greatest enjoyments was hopping on his Harley Davidson motorcycle and riding wherever the roads would take him and going up north to his cabin on Steven’s Lake.  He also enjoyed sharing his love of root beer barrels with his grandkids.

Those left behind to cherish Steve’s memory include his wife Barb, daughter Mindy (Cody) Immel, son Justin (Devyn) Klumpyan, grandchildren: Jayden, Jailee, Shaelyn, Bryson, Adelynn, Carson, and Kylee, and siblings: Terry (Paula) Klumpyan, Linda Klumpyan, Brian (Tami) Klumpyan, Lisa (Steve) Gilles, and Darin Klumpyan.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Mathias and Helen and his sister, Sue Klumpyan, In-laws Gerald and Beverly Ramthun, and brother in-law David Ramthun.

Visitation will be Friday, December 29th from 1:00 pm until time of mass at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 County Road B, Eden.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 29th at 4:00 PM at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, Eden. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and burial will be Saturday in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Eden with Military Honors.
