Sharon Murphy

Sharon L. Murphy (nee Milton), 73, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Monday January 16, 2023 at The Manor in Fond du Lac. She was born on March 26, 1949 in Beaver Dam, WI, the daughter of the late Arthur and Doris Milton (nee Parsons). Sharon graduated from Goodrich High School in 1967 and then attended Moraine Park Technical College. She worked at Tolibia (Saputo) Cheese from December of 1967 until May of 1978. On April 24, 1971, she married Ronald Murphy at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac. Sharon ran Bingo for Madison Scouts from the 90’s until 2005 and enjoyed traveling.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Ronald; children, Michael (Kris) Murphy, John Murphy, Tracy Murphy, Mary Murphy, and Suzy Schmidt; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Kathy Zwetow, Kim (Jim) Riendeau, Gerald (Joan) Milton, and Phillip Rhode; she is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Celebration of Life will be held on what would have been her 74 ^th birthday, Sunday, March 26, 2023 beginning at 3:30 pm at Joe’s Fox Hut, 41 N Main St, Fond du Lac, WI 54935.

Inurnment will be held on Monday, March 27 at 1:00 pm at the Ledgeview Memorial Park Chapel.
