Robert E Gregory

Robert E. Gregory, 88, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at the Woodlands Senior Park. He was born on February 23, 1934 in Canton, OH, a son of the late Robert Gregory and Violet (Onnie) Mattson (Scarry). Robert married Ruby Schreiner (Klink) on July 13, 1967 in Waukegan, IL. They made their home in Lomira with her daughters, Sandy (Pat) Schreiner and Sharon (Dick) Majewski. Robert and Ruby ran Heidlberg Kennels in Lomira, where they bred German Rottweilers. Robert also worked at John Deere.

He is survived by his children, Deborah Wilson and Robert A. Gregory; grandchildren, Steven (Kayla), Amanda, and Christina Gregory Morris (fiancé Mitch), and Joseph (Tonya) and Jenna Wilson; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Ryan, Madeline, and Mikey Gregory, Rachel and Lynsey Morris, Analeigh Gregory, Zayne and Torin Wilson, and Hunter Wilson; his special nephew, Don Gregory Jr., and other nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby; brother, Don Gregory, sister, Patricia Mattson, and grandson, Dustin Steger.

Cremation has taken place and private burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lomira.
