Mavis Schulz

Mavis E. Schulz (Koepke), 93, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. Mavis was born on February 7, 1929 in the town of Scott, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Hildagard (Kutz) Koepke. On October 1, 1949, she married Gerhard “Gary” Schulz. He preceded in her death on August 14, 2009.

Gary and Mavis enjoyed traveling in the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Mavis was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac.

Mavis is survived by her nieces and nephews, LuAnn (Ken) Larson, Jim (Mardell) Schulz, Bill (Diane) Behling, and Alice (Bob) Schulz, great nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Jeremias), Donna (Jan), Dennis, Steven, Sharon, Lori, and Susan.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Norman and Janice Koepke.

Entombment will be on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Shrine of the Risen Christ Mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery, Fond du Lac.
