Marvin Otto Panko of Kewaskum entered eternal life on December 8, 2024 at the age of 88.
Marvin was born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin on July 10, 1936 to Joseph and Orlinda (nee Rogie) Panko. He grew up on a large dairy farm in Junction City and was very proud his family had the largest barn in the county. Marvin worked as a mechanic for Russ Darrow Chrysler Plymouth in West Bend for over 30 years.
Marvin is survived by his sister Ruth Ann Wargolet; children Kenneth (Amphone “Noy”), Daniel, David (Brenda), and Shari Bobb (Richard Waterbury); grandchildren Chad (Bethany) Bobb, Brad (Daley Veronica) Bobb, Brandon Bobb, and Alicia Bobb (Xavier Burns); and many great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years Donna (Pospisiel) Panko; father Joseph and mother Orlinda; daughter-in-law Mary (Weinreich) Panko and son-in-law Jeffrey Bobb; grandchildren Bud Panko and Jessica Bobb; and great-grandchild Gerald Bobb.
Marvin loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a Top Gun winning trapshooter at Beechwood Sportsmans Club & other traveling gun clubs. Marvin enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially ocean fishing in Florida during retirement. He will always be remembered by his infectious smile and charismatic conversations with everyone he met.
Funeral services for Marvin will be held on December 18, 2024 at 4pm at St. John Lutheran Church – New Fane (N683 County Rd. S, Kewaskum). Visitation will be held from 2pm-4pm. Rev. Mark Eckert will be officiating. Burial will take place on December 19, 2024 at St. John Lutheran Cemetery at 11am.
