Leona May Dins

Leona May Dins, age 73, of Tempe, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.

Leona was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on September 20, 1949. She graduated from Campbellsport High School. She married her loving husband, Kenneth, on July 3, 1977, in Campbellsport, Wisconsin. She worked in Food Service for Mesa General Hospital and Brookdale Senior Living - Horizon Bay.

Leona is survived by her husband, Kenneth Dins; her children, Scott Ludwig and spouse Heather, Shelly Ludwig, and Crystal Dins; her grandchildren, Danielle Ortega, Isaiac Graham, Quentin Lewis, and Willen Ludwig; one great-grandchild, Lorenzo Diaz; and her siblings, David Muellenbach, Helen Wittkop, Robert Muellenbach and Steven Muellenbach.

Leona is preceded in death by her first husband, Dennis Ludwig, who passed in 1973; her father Leo Muellenbach, her mother Fern (Olson) Muellenbach and her mother and father-in-law Carl & Beatrice Dins.

There was a memorial service held for Leona at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 715 W. Southern Ave. Tempe, AZ 85282 on November 5, 2022, at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church building fund or to Winnebago Lutheran Academy building fund in Leona Dins name.
