Kenneth M. Scannell of Armstrong passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac. He was born on November 15, 1973 in Fond du Lac the son of Michael and Rose (nee Kraus) Scannell. Ken was the owner/operator of Scannell ‘s Custom Farming which he began in 2005. Ken enjoyed hunting and trap shooting and was a lifetime member of the Dotyville Hunting Club and also a member of the NRA. He liked traveling to Las Vegas and going on his monthly gambling run with Wally. Ken also enjoyed spending time on his tractors touring the countryside and bailing hay. He was a member of Shepherd of Hills Catholic Church.
Ken is survived his father Mike, brothers Brian (Audra) Scannell and Paul (Andrea) Scannell, nieces and nephew Alyssa, Brianna, Bret, Ashlynn, Tristan, and Irelyn, uncles and aunts James and Linda Kraus, Donald and Kathy Kraus, Mark and Kathy Kraus, Mary “Jeannie” and Richard Schroeder, Linda and Edward Scannell, Betty and Kenneth Pitzen, Annie Kraus, Helen Stenz, Joyce and James Gaulke, Nancy and Paul Diederichs, Kathy and Tom Diederichs, Jerry and Mary Jo Scannell, Shirley and Rick Straub, Jean Scannell and Chuck Narges. He is further survived by his faithful companion Duper, many cousins, other relatives and friends.
Ken was preceded in death by his mother Rose, sister Kim Marie, grandparents George and Marie Scannell and Joseph and Genevieve “Geny” Kraus, uncles Patrick Scannell and James Stenz, and aunt Mary Narges.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 7:00 pm at Shepherd of the Hill Catholic Church, W1562 County Road B, Eden. Rev. Mark Jones will officiate.
Visitation will be from 2:30 pm until time of Mass at Shepherd of the Hills Church.
