Kathryn “Kitty” Ann Krueger, 92, formerly of Campbellsport went home to her Lord on Monday, September 30, 2024 at the Christian Home in Waupun. She was born on December 18, 1931 in Campbellsport, the daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth (nee Leibel) Straub. On April 15, 1950, Kitty was united in marriage to Allan Krueger at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Campbellsport.
Kitty worked at Gilbert Shoe Factory and later at Regal Ware for many years before retiring. She was a lifelong member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Parish, the Mission Sewing Circle, and the Christian Women. Kitty enjoyed crocheting, taking her daily walks, golfing, playing cards especially sheepshead, and loved cooking and baking (making special desserts for the family). Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were everything to her holding a special place in her heart.
Survivors include her sons Dennis (Betty) Krueger of Beechwood, David Krueger of North Fond du Lac, and Dean (Molly) Krueger of Campbellsport, daughters Allene (Miltos) Germenis of Florida and Carol Lamb of Fond du Lac, grandchildren Tom (Ali) Krueger, Steve Krueger, Kristin Atanasoff, Jennifer Jones, Allyssa (David) Piatak-Webel, Blake Lamb, Kylie Krueger, and Karsten Krueger, great grandchildren Bennet, Bayley, Sophia, Lucia, Kimberly, Riley, Allayna, and Sofie, sisters-in-law Nancy Straub, Dolly Keating, and Sandy Pelischek, best friend Ernie Hammen, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Kitty was preceded in death by her husband Allan on November 21, 1998, grandson Dustin Lamb, granddaughter-in-law Rhonda Krueger, and brothers and their wives Henry and Betty Straub, Albert and Marcella Straub, and Harold Straub.
Private family services will be held on Wednesday, October 9th at the Shrine of the Risen Christ Mausoleum Chapel in Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac. Rev. Mark Jones will officiate and entombment will follow.
The family extends a special thank you to the nurses and staff of the Waupun Christian Home and SSM Health at Home Hospice for the loving care of Kitty.
