Joshua Christopher Seymour, 39, of West Allis, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. He was born in Hartford on November 24, 1980, the son of Paul and Kathleen (nee Francour) Seymour. Josh graduated from Kewaskum High School and UW-Whitewater. He excelled academically and, at his college graduation, he received special recognition for his volunteering and service work for Church World Services/Feed the Hungry.
Josh loved sports of all kinds. He spent many summers playing softball in the Allenton Youth Organization. In high school, he was an accomplished tennis player, skier and snowboarder. He loved music and taught himself to play the guitar. Josh will be remembered as a friendly, kind and compassionate person who helped those in need. By being a tissue donor, he will hold forever a special place in the hearts of other individuals and their families and friends.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his parents Paul and Kathy, brother Matt (Amy), grandmother Della Seymour, uncles and aunts; Gerald Francour, Mike (Julie) Seymour and Ellie Seymour; cousins, Nicki (Tom), Doug (Becky), Patrick (Angela), Steven, Beth (Dan), Tracey, Jeff (Christine), Kelly (Trey), Jill (Steve), Amy (Joe), Holly (Dave) and other relatives and friends.
Josh was preceded in death by his grandfathers Ervin Seymour and Raymond Francour, grandmother Helen Francour-Peterson, his uncles and aunts Robert (Elizabeth) Francour, Al Rhodes, Chris Seymour, Marjorie LaCount and Jack (Sue) Peterson.
A private family memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st at the Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport. Rev. Roger Clapp will officiate and burial will take place at a later date.
