Jonathan R. Blatz

Jonathan R. Blatz, 33, of Eden, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at St. Agnes Hospital on Saturday, July 17, 2021. He was born on April 14, 1988, the son of Donald and Carolyn Blatz (nee Krug). Jon worked at Brooke Industries and participated in many Arc activities. He enjoyed playing crazy 8’s, word searches, telling jokes, and his infamous handshake.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his parents, Donald and Carolyn Blatz; siblings, Holly (Trevor) Snyder and Jake Blatz (significant other Kelsi Roschen); and nephew and niece, Lincoln and Allison. He is further survived by 22 aunts and uncles, many cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry and Bernadette Blatz and Carlton and Isabelle Krug; and uncles, Gerald “Skook” Blatz, Randal Krug, and Gary Smith.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 1:00 pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 2090 WI-23, Mt Calvary, WI 53057. Rev. Mark Barenz will officiate and burial will follow at Forest Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or the Arc of Fond du Lac.
