Jon William Paulson

Jon William “Jackie” Paulson, age 84, passed away on April 9, 2025, in West Bend, Wisconsin.

Born on March 8, 1941, in Willmer, Minnesota, Jon was the son of Everett and Elaine Paulson.

Jon proudly served his country in the United States Navy for two years, working in the galley aboard the USS Shangri La. After his service, Jon found joy and purpose in many roles. Jon retired from the West Bend Company after 25+ years. He was a beloved school bus driver and looked forward to seeing his riders every day. He dedicated much of his time to coaching youth sports. As a little league and softball coach, he made a lasting impact on young athletes by encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship.

Jon had a zest for life that was evident in everything he did. He loved bowling and joined leagues in Campbellsport and Fond du Lac. He enjoyed dancing and singing karaoke, bringing smiles to those around him with every performance. A devoted fan of Wisconsin sports, Jon cheered passionately for the Brewers, Packers and Badgers.

Jon is lovingly remembered by his children: daughter Carrie Lange (Ned), son Daniel Paulson, and daughter Jodine Ibeme; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sister, Jeanann Elkin, and brothers, Bill (Cathy) Paulson, Jan (Kathy) Paulson, and Jay Paulson.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Linda Paulson; his parents Everett and Elaine Paulson, brother Jim Paulson, and grandson, Ike Ibeme.
