Jerome Andrew Pollom

Jerome A. Pollom, 81, of Fond du Lac passed away after a long illness on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. Jerry was born on July 5, 1942 to Mary Louise (Willett) and Andrew Stanley Pollom in Fond du Lac, WI.

Jerry enjoyed working as a bartender for many years at Kinker’s Korners Restaurant. He retired as a custodian from Fond du Lac High School (formerly Goodrich High School).

Jerry enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and golfing with family and friends. He was proud of his John Wayne movie collection. Jerry loved traveling especially to Yellowstone National Park with his beloved wife of 52 years, Ona, whom he married on June 28, 1971.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Ona; daughter Liz (Jeff) Ruedinger; granddaughters Nicole (Andrew) Lepien and Sabrina Ruedinger; and brother Jess (Ellen) Pollom.

He was preceded in death by his parents; older brother Jack; and sister-in-law Jean.

He was a kind, generous, and caring man, and he will be missed.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 7th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 S. Peters Ave. Fond du Lac.

Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery.
