Jerome "Jerry" F. Mostek

Jerome F. “Jerry” Mostek, 81, of Fond du Lac, passed away on February 20, 2022, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

Jerry was born on July 31, 1940, the son of the late Harry and Theresa (nee Haselow) Mostek. Following high school, Jerry proudly served his country for 8 years in the U.S. Army. On October 30, 1965, Jerry was united in marriage to Diane Perret at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Green Bay. Diane preceded Jerry in death on May 15, 2004.

Jerry loved football and the Packers and he was a history buff – particularly military history. He played collegiate football for St. Norbert College.

Those Jerry leaves behind to cherish his memory include four children, Tammy (Kevin) Meyers, Chad Mostek (significant other, Erika Faber), Wade Mostek (significant other, Kristin Carlson), Kyle Mostek; nine grandchildren, Hunter Meyers, Madison Meyers, Amanda Mostek, Ethan Mostek, Noah Faber, Hayden Mostek, Cole Mostek, Quinten Mostek, and Evan Mostek; other relatives and friends.

VISITATION: Jerry’s family will greet relatives and friends at Holy Family Catholic Church, 271 Fourth Street Way in Fond du Lac, on Friday, February 25, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: A Mass for Jerry will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Ryan Pruess will officiate and entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Fond du Lac.

The family would like to thank the health care workers at Adelaide Place,  St. Agnes Cancer Center, and St. Agnes Hospital for their compassionate care for our father.
