Janet R. Koch

Janet Koch, aged 86, of the town of Auburn, passed away on Monday June 17th at her home, with her family by her side.

Janet was born on January 26, 1938 in Bonduel, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Conrad and Hilda (Brodhagen) Glock.

She attended St Paul's Lutheran School and Bonduel High School until she was selected as a Ford Scholar and went to the University of Wisconsin at Madison at the age of 16.  It was here that Janet met and fell in love with Allen Koch.  Janet and Allen were married in 1957 and were married for 61 years.   Janet was a homemaker, busy raising their family and a faithful member of St Lucas Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.

Survivors include children:  Maureen of Campbellsport;  Colleen of N. Fond du Lac; Doug (Heather) of Bark River, Michigan; Jon of Campbellsport.    Grandchildren:  Amelia and Jillian of Michigan;  Bonnie of Waupaca.    Sisters-in-law:  Shirley  Glock of Shawano and Bonni Glock of Bozeman, Montana.  Brother-in-law Jack Stroehlein of Tucson, AZ.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Allen, her son Russell;  brothers Ron Glock and Charles Glock and her sisters Lois Torgerson and Iola Stroehlein.

A visitation will be held at St. Lucas Lutheran Church , 1417 Parkview Dr., Kewaskum, on Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m with Reverend Timothy Henning officiating. Burial will take place at Lutheran Memorial Park.
