James Norbert Flitter

James “Fuzzy” Norbert Flitter, 75, of Campbellsport passed away peacefully on Friday August 13, 2021 after a two year battle with cancer and ALS at his home with his loving family gathered around him. He was born on March 27, 1946 in Campbellsport, the son of the late Norbert “Turtle” and Mildred (Wagner) Flitter. On November 14, 1964, Fuzzy married Janice Marie Morgan at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eden.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife Janice, three sons Dean (special friend Ann), Scott (Jenny) and Todd (Rachelle), grandchildren Brianna, Brooke, Leah and Luke, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Roger and Katsie Morgan, Mary Jo Morgan, Ronnie and Pat Morgan, Bob Morgan, Mary and Norm Ebert and Pat Morgan, other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Fuzzy was preceded in death by his parents Turtle and Mildred, in-laws Leo and Mildred Morgan, sister Barbara and her husband Roger of Albuquerque, NM, brothers-in-law Richard Morgan and Dennis Morgan and nephew Danny Morgan.
Fuzzy was able to be a wonderful husband and best friend to his high school sweet heart for 56 years. He was a generous, loving man and had an answer for everything. He enjoyed being outdoors, riding his John Deer lawnmower and most of all hunting and fishing with his boys; watching them all through grade and high school with their baseball, basketball and wrestling gave him such pride and then to watch the grandchildren do the same.
Fuzzy worked at Precision Metals and then he and Janice ran Fuzzy Tap in Waucousta for 9 years. He worked at Shefond Oil and LPD driving delivery truck. He managed the office for Skelgas until he was hired by Cole Oil and Propane where he delivered propane until retirement. He loved driving his propane truck and setting up his routes for many customers over the years. He and his wife spent a lot of time camping and fishing in Shawano and going to the casinos. He was an avid sports fan watching college basketball, the Bucks, Brewers, Badgers and Packers all the time.
Visitation for Fuzzy will be Tuesday, August 17th starting at 11:00 am at St Matthew Catholic Church, 406 E. Main St. Campbellsport followed by a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 pm at the Church. Rev. Mark Jones will officiate.
We want to extend our gratitude to all the family and friends who have kept Fuzzy and our family in their prayers. A special thank you to Leo and Bev Emmer for all their help and to Joan Buerger for being there for us. To Agnesian Health and Hospice, your kindness and special care will never be forgotten.
