Gloria Jean Wischow

Gloria J. Wischow (nee Roberts), 80, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. She was born on July 6, 1941 in Ripon, a daughter of Eugene and Marjorie Roberts (nee Fruend). On June 11, 1960, she married Ronald Wischow in North Fond du Lac. Gloria loved to go to the casino and to Las Vegas once a year. She was a vendor at the farmer’s market on Saturday and sold her beans, hot peppers, jams and jellies, and crocheted towels. Gloria loved her cat, Katie, her husband’s cat, Missy, and also her grand puppies, Shelby and Willow. Above all else, she cherished the time spent with her family.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her daughters, Debra (Don) Ziegler of Fond du Lac, Laurie Wischow of Fond du Lac, and Wendy Wischow of Milwaukee; grandchildren, Eric, Jason, Josh, Jacob, Gloria, Heather, and Nicolas; 8 great grandchildren; and her brother, Ronald Roberts. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, and her sisters, Patricia Kuhen and Sandra Ratke.

A funeral service for Gloria will be held on Monday, May 30 at 2:00 pm at Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Gloria’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Entombment will take place privately at Ledgeview Memorial Park.
