Faye Edna Giese passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the age of 88. She was born in Barton (West Bend) on May 17, 1936 to her parents, Norman and Gertrude (Allarding) Jacklin. She joined 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
On June 18, 1955, she married Ralph “Chaz” A. Giese. They danced their way through 66 years before he passed away. She enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, camping, spending time with her sisters, and baking. She had a love for dogs, especially Max and Sunny, who visited her with family members. She never went out without her hair done and her favorite lipstick on. She maintained their home and family while Ralph was on the road, driving truck. Later, after they bought their own truck, she joined him on the road as his co-pilot and dispatcher.
They were blessed with three children…Christine (Alan) Koenigs, Roger (Joan Glikey) Giese and Chet Giese. She has 6 grandchildren: Jason (Mel) Loehrke, Michael (Jen) Koenigs, Ryan (Courtney) Koenigs, Ashley (Kevin Lenz) Giese, Michelle (Chris Wenzel) Giese and Brandon Giese, and 9 great grandchildren whom she loved and adored. She was always so happy when they came to visit her!!
Those she left behind were her children, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren. She has her sister Carol Ruplinger, and sisters-in-law Rita Jacklin, Dorothy Krueger, and Shirley Gruber.
Preceding in death by her parents, her husband Ralph on October 8, 2021, her in-laws Elmer and Adele Giese, brothers Ralph (Mary) Jacklin, Norman Jacklin, Jr, and an infant brother, sister Delores (Leroy) Faber, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Marvin Ruplinger, Frank (Verona) Hartwig, Oscar (Ruth) Giese, Oliver Krueger, Marvin (Marion) Giese, Marvin (Margaret) Schultz, Ronald (Janet) Coulter, Norman Gruber, Leonard (Mary) Schultz, and Bonnie (Sal) Okon
Faye will have a small service with family and friends on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 9:00 am at Union Cemetery in Theresa. Cremation has taken place. There will be a gathering to celebrate her life at Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport, WI after the burial on Friday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Faye wishes to thank the exceptional nursing staff, 5th and 6th floors, at St. Agnes Hospital, as well as her wonderful doctors. They went above and beyond taking care of her.
The Hospice Preceptor team Marie, Renee, Kori, Hannah, and the chaplain were a comfort to her and her family.
Adelaide Place, her assisted living facility, helped in her final days, also. Chrissy, Erica, and many others were so kind to her in the short time she lived there. We couldn’t have gone through this without them.
