Eleanor Elizabeth Haack

Eleanor “Nory” E. Haack, 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born on November 14, 1933 in the Town of Auburn, the daughter of Harry and Vera (nee Haushalter) Odekirk.

Eleanor was a graduate of Campbellsport High School. On August 27, 1955, she was united in marriage to Martin E. Haack at St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Fane. They farmed together in the Town of Auburn. Eleanor enjoyed fishing, quilting, crocheting, camping, and woodworking. She was a member of the New Fane Kettle Riders and was a great people watcher. Most important to Eleanor was the time she spent with family.

Eleanor is survived by her sons Henry Haack and Daryl (Marcie) Haack, grandchildren Holly (Lucas) Reindl, Harrison Haack, and Benjamin (fiancée Mackenzie Gilbert) Haack, great granddaughters Autumn and Eden Reindl, sisters Alice Ketter and Harriet Gilligan, nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, husband Martin in 1996, son Mark in 2020, sister Joyce Bowen, brother John “Jack” Odekirk, brother-in-law Loren Ketter, and sister-in-law Mildred Odekirk.

A funeral service will Friday, February 9th at 2:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport, WI 53010. Chaplain Jim Mallmann and burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Campbellsport.

Visitation will be Friday, February 9th from 11:00 AM until time of service at the Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport.

There will be a celebration of Eleanor’s life at a later date.
