Donna Huhndorf

Donna L. Huhndorf (nee Vossekuil), 73, of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. She was born on March 25, 1948, daughter of the late Edward and Edith Vossekuil (nee Feavel) and on December 22, 1980, she married Curt Huhndorf. Donna was a people-person and loved interacting with the guests at Lake Aire Supper Club where she worked for over 25 years. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Above all else, she loved the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her children, Frank (Patti) Szymczak and Brenda Kumbier; grandchildren, Shane (Eeman) Szymczak, Cody (Shanna) Szymczak, Christopher Szymczak, Timothy (Krystin) Puetz, Ryan (Ashley) Kumbier, and Briana Kumbier; great-grandchildren, Aly, Talia, Darius, and Kai Szymczak, Madison, Kaleigh, and Braely Szymczak, Aryana, Jaida, and Amelia Puetz; and her brother, Randy (Jenny) Vossekuil. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curt; siblings, Karen Bukowiec, Linda Vossekuil, Mike Vossekuil, and Doug Vossekuil; and sister-in-law, Beth Trent.

Services will be on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church 460 Cedar St Fond du Lac, WI 54935. There will be a gathering at Brenda's house immediately following the service. The address will be given at church on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Agnesian Hospice.
