Deborah Mary Braatz

Deborah “Debbie” Mary Braatz (nee Braun), age 60 of Eden, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 13, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Debbie was born on August 15, 1963, in Fond du Lac, to the late Ronald and Rosemary (nee Willis) Braun. Debbie was united in marriage to John Braatz on August 21, 1987. Debbie loved to garden and spend time with her flowers. She also loved to bake, sew and had many quilts that she made. Debbie was a proud grandmother and always spent time with the grandchildren.  She was the glue to the family. Debbie will be missed.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, John Braatz; four children, Nick (Sarah) Braatz, Ben (Heather) Braatz, Sam (Shelby) Braatz, and Jess (Jordan) Rowe; 9 grandchildren, Austin, Mason, Colton, Elinore, Nolan, Kayleigh, Oakley, Rosalie, Wesley, and one grandchild on the way; three brothers, Kevin (Lisa) Braun, Tim (Monica) Braun, and Dave (Julie) Braun; mother in-law, Alice Braatz; many aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Debbie is preceded in death by her brother Tommy Braun; and father in-law, Edward Braatz.

VISITATION: Debbie’s family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Avenue, Fond du Lac, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Additional visitation will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Parish, W1652 CTH-B, Eden, WI from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.

MASS: Following visitation on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 12:00 p.m., a Memorial Mass will take place for Debbie, with Father Mark Jones officiating.

The family would like to thank the Dr. Jones and his team at the Cancer center along with SSM Hospice for their care and compassion.
