David King

David J. King, 82, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021, a few weeks shy of his 83rd birthday at the Adelaide Place. He was born on September 27, 1938 in Fond du Lac, a son of the late Joseph and Hildegarde King (nee Kern). David worked on his family’s farm until he began working at Tobin Tool & Die doing janitorial work. He retired from Basic American Metal. David loved the joy and happiness children brought, and especially loved spending time with his nieces, nephews, and family. He was kind, compassionate, a friend to all, and was the best role model. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his sisters, Ruth Elizalde, Rose Johnson, Susan King, and Donna King; brothers, John (June) King and Charles King; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Patrick, Daniel, Richard, George, and Michael; and sisters, Jeanie and Mary. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 3:30 pm at Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave Fond du Lac, WI. 54935. David’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 1:30 pm until the time of the service.
