Corrine Troskey, 90 of Fond du Lac passed away on July 15, 2024, with her loving family by her side at Hope Senior Living in Lomira. Born on May 28, 1934 daughter of the late Milton and Frieda (Feuerhamer) Luedtke. She grew up in Campbellsport and went to Campbellsport High School.
In 1954 she married her high school sweetheart George Michels. George was stationed in Brownsville, TX at the U.S Naval Base. Afterwards, they moved back to the Fond du Lac area where they were blessed with four children.
She was a lifetime member of the Church of Peace in Fond du Lac and participated in many activities, groups, and fundraisers. She volunteered at the Fond du Lac Senior Center and worked in the gift shop. Raced at the snowmobile races in Taycheedah.
Hobbies and treasures included; Flowers, arts and crafts, cats, gardening, and reading a good book.
She is survived by her Husband Dominic Troskey; loving children; Debra (Thomas) Zinniel, Robert Michels, Thomas (Vickie) Michels, Penny (Jeff) Selin. Grandchildren; Jessica Wegner, Tory Busch, Stephanie (Ryan) Lueck, Amanda (Eric) Kraus, Christopher (Elyse) Michels, Amber (Tom) Lichtensteiger, Layne and Dana Selin.
Great-grandchildren; Cailey Wegner, Caleb Higgens, Austin Flores, Raeann Lueck, Riley Lueck, Peyton Kraus, Bruce Kraus, Chloe Michels, soon-to-be-born Scarlett Michels, Charlotte, and Sophia Lichtensteiger. Special friend Susie Reschke. She is further survived by numerous, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Husband George in 1977, Husband John Hardie his son Kurt Hardie.
The Celebration of Life for Corrine will be on July 22, 2024, at 11 am at Church of Peace (158 S Military Rd) with Rev. Stephen O. Stepp officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9 am until the time of service.
