Elizabeth "Betty" Drehmel

Elizabeth “Betty” Drehmel, 86, of Dotyville passed away peacefully on Friday, September 9, 2022 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. She was born on May 25, 1936 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Clemens and Clara (Oestreicher) Ditter. On June 18, 1955, she married Wilbur “Will” Drehmel at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Dotyville. Betty worked at Regal Ware for many years before retiring. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed fishing, camping and her birds and was a great Brewer fan. Betty loved her feline companions Kitty, Snowball and Tuffy.

Survivors include her children Anita (Mark) Immel, Bruce (Colette) Drehmel, Cathy (Jerry) Kortesmaki, Gayle Drehmel (special friend Pete Schultz), Mike (Kim) Drehmel and Dianne (Neal) Schmidt, grandchildren Cory (Bobbie), Clarissa (special friend Ryan), Casey (Rick), Jess (Special friend Mike),  Kate (special friend Adam), Daniel, Adrian (Tyler), Candice (Jason), Amanda (Flint), Sarah (Nick), Chris (Mercedes), Melissa (Chip) and Jeremy (Carla), 20 great grandchildren, siblings Carole Pagel, Robert “Bob” Ditter, Harold (Clare) Ditter and Steve (Lynn) Ditter, other relatives and friends,

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Will on May 16, 2021 and grandson Brandon.

Private family services will be held on Wednesday September 14 ^th at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac.

The family extends a special thank you to the Mt. Calvary Ambulance Service, Paramedics and First Responders, to the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Agnes Hospital especially the ICU and to Father Edward Sanchez.
