Betty J. Anderson (nee Rakowski), 90, of Eden, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born in Milwaukee on September 15, 1933 to Stanley and Eleanor Rakowski (nee Kleowski). Betty attended Girl’s Tech School in Milwaukee. She worked at the canning factory in Eden for 27 years and also for the hot lunch program in Fond du Lac for 25 years. Betty always enjoyed spending her time fishing. Betty recently completed her top bucket list item, to visit Alaska and see whales, which she did. “she was a loving, caring and very protective mother.”

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her children, Mark (Patty) Riedl, Jim (Debrah) Riedl, Dan (Trish) Riedl, and Larry Riedl (Jane); her step-children, Mike Anderson, Jody Anderson, Jill Anderson, and Christine (Tim) Bennett; grandchildren, Autumn, Trevor, Alexis, Danielle, and Curtis. step-grandchildren, Justin, Isabelle, Harris, Michelle, Cody, Dana Lynn, and Kyle; great-grandchild, Berlin, Koen and Nolan; and step-greatgrandchildren, Elana, Carlene, Armaan, Byron, and Wade.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd “Chubs” Anderson, and all of her siblings.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9th at 11 AM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport, WI 53010 and her cremains will be interred in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 9th from 10:30 AM until time of service at the Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport.

The family requests that all people attending Betty's visitation and service wear blue (Betty's favorite color).
