It is with a very heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin, Benjamin Parks. Ben recently passed at his home in St. Paul, MN.
Ben was born in Escanaba, MI to Jeffery Parks and Ann (Thivierge) Schwind. He grew up in Michigan and Waupun, WI. He graduated from Waupun High School where he was active in hockey, chorus, and the Union Youth Center.
He served 6 years in the US Air Force as an Integrated Avionics Sys Heavy Journeyman. He deployed from Germany to Ali Al Salem Airbase in Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom prior to being stationed in Okinawa. While serving he received the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and other honors.
After returning to the States, he attended Brown College, where he studied Radio Broadcasting. He loved music, online gaming, and was an avid reader of fantasy fiction.
He is survived by family and friends that loved him very much.
He will be interred with military honors on April 5, 2025 at 10am at Calvary Cemetery, 686 Fond du lac Ave, Fond du lac, WI 54935. His family will be receiving friends following internment on April 5th at Twohig funeral home, 305 Fond du Lac Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI 54935 from 11am to 2pm to share memories and celebrate Ben.
