J. Thomas O’Brien, 65, of Eden passed away on Sat. June 9, 2007 at Froedtert Lutheran Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born on Dec. 30, 1941 the son of George M. and Margaret Ferguson O’Brien. On Aug. 10, 1963 he married Barbara A. Hilt at St. John the Baptist Church in Johnsburg. Tom farmed in the Town of Eden all his life and was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters Court 814 Eden. Survivors include his wife Barb, his mother Margaret, his sons Anthony (Hope) and Terry of Eden, his daughter Kim (John) Greene of Brownsville, his grandchildren Austin and Samantha, a special son Sean (Candi) O’Brien of Eden, a special grandson Kean, his brother Edward (Judy) of Eden, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and three brothers Michael, George and David. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 12 at 5:00 PM at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac. Jerry Wagner will officiate and entombment will follow. The Catholic Oder of Foresters Court 814 Eden will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until time of service at the mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Fr. Mike Shea’s Mission in Thailand. The Twohig Funeral Home of Fond du Lac is serving the family.
