Sister Elizabeth Mary Fritchen, SSSF “ Sister Monaldo”, 84, a resident of St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport died Tuesday June 26, 2007 at the convent. She was born in Racine on August 13, 1922 the daughter of the late Harold and Rosa Burdick Fritchen. Sister Elizabeth joined the School Sisters of St. Francis Community on June 13, 1939, professing her vows on June 21, 1941. She served her community at various missions as a homemaker, a dietician and a seamstress. She retired to Campbellsport in 1999. She is survived by her sisters Monica Dargo of Racine and Dolores Ellison of Kenosha, her brother Elmer Beatty of Phoenix, AZ, nieces and nephews, other relatives, friends and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community. Visitation will be Friday June 29, 2007 from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph’s Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the School Sisters of St. Francis are appreciated.
