James T. Fitzgerald, Sr., 80, of Campbellsport passed away Tuesday Sept. 18, 2007 at the Cedar Lake Home, West Bend, with his family gathered around him. He was born on Jan. 27, 1927 in Milwaukee the son of Sharrill and Lucille Stegman Fitzgerald. On April 21, 1951, Jim married Shirley M. Frank in Menomonee Falls. Jim served in the U.S. Army during WW II in Germany. He worked at Dostal & Lowey Co. in Menomonee Falls for 35 years. Jim was a member of the Campbellsport VFW Post # 8339 and St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Campbellsport. Survivors include his wife Shirley, his children Marie (Dennis) Wendtland of Fredonia, Fran (Gary) Backes of Germantown, Ann (Gary) Kosciesza of White Lake, Deb (Terry) Pepin of Temecula, CA, Jim (Lorrie) Fitzgerald, Jr. of Campbellsport and June (Dan) Schiffer of Menomonee Falls, 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, his brother Sharrill (Omagard) Fitzgerald of San Jose, CA, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother John and his sisters Betty, Mary Ellen and Ila Sue. Memorial services will be held on Friday at 3:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home in Campbellsport. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and inurnment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Armstrong with Military Honors. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home
