Sister Mary Henry Marking SSSF, 95, a resident of St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport died Friday Sept. 21, 2007 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac. She was born on Feb. 7, 1912 in Cross Plains the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Anne Uebersetzig Marking. She joined the School Sisters of St. Francis Community on June 12, 1928 professing her vows on Aug. 23, 1934.Sister Mary Henry served her community as a teacher, receptionist and a principal at a number of community missions including serving as principal at St. St. Patrick's School in Beaver Dam from 1968 to 1980. Survivors include many nieces and nephews, other relatives, friends and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wed. Sept. 26 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery Campbellsport. Visitation will be Wed. from 10:00 AM until time of mass at the convent.
