Michael James Gannon, 60, of Fond du Lac died unexpectedly. He was born June 13, 1947 in Escanaba, MI the son of Robert and Thora Olsen Gannon. He graduated from Escanaba Area High School in 1966. Michael served his country in the Army from 1966 until 1970. He enjoyed his family and friends and was an avid golfer. Survivors include his son Eric of Fond du Lac, one daughter Natascha (fiancée Greg Faircloth) Gannon of Fayetteville, NC, and their mother Inge Stroh Sinclair of Fayetteville, NC, 5 brothers: Patrick (Suzanne) of Iron Mt, MI, Jerry (Mary) of Green Bay, Thomas (Cathy) of Fond du Lac, Robert Daniel of Gila Bend, AZ, Peter (Sandy) of Escanaba, MI, 3 sisters: Colleen (David) Markert of Fond du Lac, Kathryn (Robert) Pearson and Maureen (Paul) Schunk both of Escanaba, MI, many nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and one niece Sarah Gannon. Memorial services will be held Saturday October 6, 2007 at 12:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home in Escanaba, MI.
