Sister Mary Kornely, SSSF, 83, passed away Friday Jan. 4, 2008 at St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport. Sister was born July 5, 1924 in Milwaukee the daughter of the late Raymond and Elizabeth Holsen Kornely. She was received by the School Sisters of St. Francis on June 13, 1942 and professed her vows on June 21, 1944. Sister served her community as a teacher, retreat leader and as a spiritual director. Sister Mary was the dear sister of Carol Ehlenbach of Madison, WI and Elizabeth Miech of Riverside, RI. Further survived by nieces, other relatives and the School Sisters of St. Francis with whom she shared life for 66 years. Visitation at St. Joseph Convent , 526 Mill St. Campbellsport on Tues. Jan. 8 from 10:00 AM until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the School Sisters of St. Francis Development Office are appreciated
