Sister Eve Evers, SSSF, “Sister Alpheus”, 89. Passed away Monday January 7, 2008 at St. Joseph Convent,in Campbellsport. Sister was born on March 23, 1918 in St. Libory, NE, the daughter of the late Conrad and Katherine Horak Evers. She was received by the School Sisters of St. Francis on June 13, 1938 and professed her vows on August 12, 1946. Sister served her community as a musician at various missions. Sister is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and the School Sisters of St. Francis with whom she shared life for 70 years. Visitation at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport on Thur. Jan. 10th from 10:00 AM until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the School Sisters of St. Francis Development Office are appreciated.
