Leo T. Kelley, 83 of Eden died Tuesday Jan. 8, 2008 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born in Fond du Lac County on July 4, 1924 the son of Leo and Rosemary Dolan Kelley. He married Audrey J. DeBoth on April 22, 1950 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on September 3, 1981. Leo was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. John’s Catholic Church in Byron. Leo was a loving father (mother for the last 26 years). He loved family, farming, football and fishing. Survivors include his 4 sons: Michael (Sherri) of DePere, Patrick (Debbie) of Athens and their children Ryan, Nicholas, Melissa and Karissa, Dennis (Monica) of Fond du Lac and their children Shane, Evan, Christopher, Patrick, Nathan, and Maria, and Timothy (Karen) of Fond du Lac and their children Amie, Betsy, Heidi, Molly and Clark, 7 daughters: Christine (Steve) Makowski of Fond du Lac and their children Jason, Michelle, and Joseph, Teresa (Andrew) Schad of Amery and their children Nicole, Aaron, Kim and Kayla , Colleen (John) Smedberg of Fond du Lac and their children Thomas, Robert, Joseph and Daniel, Mary (Mark) Tautges of Fond du Lac and their children Tony, Steve and Luke, Rita (John) Marcin of Oakfield and their children Sean, Cory and Bridget, Annette (Dennis) Melvin of West Bend and their children Matthew and Erin, and Barbara (Steve) Konen of Fond du Lac and their children Joshua, Tyler, Kelley and Nicholas and 7 great grandchildren, 1 sister Alice Smith of Fond du Lac, 1 sister-in-law Dorothy Kelley of Fond du Lac and 2 brother-in-laws: Robert (Betty) DeBoth of New Holstein and Ray (Loretta) DeBoth of Chicago, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Audrey, 1 grandson Brandon Kelley, 1 brother Robert Kelley and 1 sister Ruth Kelley, and 1 brother-in-law Tom Smith. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday Jan. 12 at 11:00 AM at Sons of Zebedee St. John’s Catholic Church, Hwy 175 Byron. Rev. Rick Wendell will officiate and burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery in Byron. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 PM until 8PM with the Rosary at 8 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home 305 Fond du Lac Avenue, Fond du Lac and on Sat. from 10AM until the time of mass at the church fellowship hall.
