Bernadine Lingenfelter, 80, of 804 S. Park Ave, Fond du Lac died January 19, 2008 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. She was born June 10, 1927 the daughter of the late Martin and Katherine Tonn in the Town of Osceola, Campbellsport. On May 15, 1948 she married John R. Lingenfelter in St. Joseph Church, Fond du Lac. John died July 19, 1996. Bernadine was employed at Wells Mfg. Corp. for 32 years and was a volunteer at St. Agnes Hospital for 17 years. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Parish. Bernadine is survived by one daughter Rita Shirreffs of Grants Pass, Oregon, one grandson Vince Longo of Fitchburg, one granddaughter Christina Longo of Tigard, Oregon, two sisters Mary Scannell of Campbellsport and Katherine Willis of Fond du Lac, other relatives and friends. Liturgy of the Word for Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac. Entombment will be in The Chapel of the Risen Christ, Calvary Cemetery, in Fond du Lac.Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00PM until time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Hope.
