Dennis M. Duffy, 63, of Fond du Lac died peacefully Jan. 29, 2008 at home. He was born Dec. 29, 1944 in Racine, WI, the son of the late John and Mildred Botting Duffy. He graduated from Racine Horlick High School. Dennis served our country in the U.S. Marines from 1962-1965. He married Peggy L. Chernouski on October 3, 1970 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Racine. She preceded him in death on April 20, 1988. Dennis retired from the State of Wisconsin. Survivors include three daughters: Dawn (Dean) Schaap of Sheboygan Falls, Pamela (Ron) Williams of Great Falls, MT and Julie Duffy of Fond du Lac, 4 grandchildren: Shawn and Kirsten Kreutz, Meghan Williams and Kevin Duffy, one brother Jim (Mary) Duffy of Rockford, IL, 3 sisters: MaryAnn (Gary) Wortmann of Beloit, Patsy Duffy of Racine and Debbie (Denny) Arpke of Eagle River, several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday Feb. 2, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Hope Lutheran Church at 260 Vincent Street in Fond du Lac with Rev.
