Helen Agnes (O’Brien) Gellings, 79 went to her heavenly home surrounded by her loved ones Thursday, February 7, 2008 at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born Sept. 1, 1928 to James H. and Estelle (Stack) O’Brien in Eden, WI. On December 27, 1947 she married the love of her life Wilbert J. Gellings at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eden. She loved her family, friends, to laugh and sing. She enjoyed caring for others and was always there when she was needed. Throughout her years she enjoyed horses, golfing, bowling, shopping, attending her grandchildren’s sporting and school events. She is survived by her husband, daughter Margie (Wally) Seibel of Armstrong, her 4 sons John (Kathy) of St. Cloud, Gary (Nan) of Redgranite, Dan (Chris) of Armstrong, Tim (Kim) of Campbellsport, 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, two sisters: Michaela O’Brien CSA and Alice (Norb Reigert) Michels of Fond du Lac, two brothers: James (Helen) O’Brien, Pat (Marilyn) O’Brien, one brother-in-law, Frank Flood all of Eden, two sisters-in-law Sally Gellings of Dotyville, Viola Gellings of Lomira and a multitude of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Tom O’Brien, one sister Florence Flood, 6 brothers-in-law Art, Ed, William, Richard, and Alfred Gellings, and Arlyn Michels three sisters-in-law Stella and Joan Gellings and Collette O’Brien and one daughter-in-law Janet Gellings. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday Feb. 11, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, Hwy B Eden with The Rev. Joseph Juknialis officiating with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Eden. Friends may call on Sunday Feb. 10th from 4p.m. until 8p.m. with a Prayer service at 8 p.m. at the Twohig Funeral Home at 305 Fond du Lac Avenue, Fond du Lac and at the church on Monday from 9:30a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the church. www.twohigfunerals.com
