Dennis C. Livingston, 70, of Fond du Lac passed away peacefully with family gathered with him on Wed. April 9, 2008 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac. He was born on January 23, 1938 in Oconomowoc the son of the late Harry and Esther Thiele Livingston. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1955-1957. He married Ella Mae Schadow on October 25, 1958 and she preceded him in death on Dec. 31, 1981. On Oct. 24, 1987 he married Marion Mueller Lefeber. He retired as a welder from Maysteel Corp and he belonged to the Maysteel 25 Year Club. He was a member of Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac and the Fond du Lac Senior Center where he played in a number of pool leagues. Dennis enjoyed woodworking and camping. Survivors include his wife Marion, one daughter Deborah (William) Haase of Juneau, three grandchildren: Nichole Lenser of Reeseville, Kristin and Melissa Haase both of Juneau, two step children: Kathleen (Norm) Waldschmidt of Fond du Lac and Patricia (Randy) Wegner of Oshkosh, seven step grandchildren: Danielle Waldschmidt of Burnsville, MN, Nicholas, Ashley, Kelsey and Jacob Waldschmidt all of Fond du Lac, Kevin and Tyler Wegner both of Oshkosh, two sisters: Joanne (Glen) Boltz of Hartford and Betty Jean Wolter of Watertown. He is further survived by his mother-in-law Sarah Mueller of Fond du Lac, sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-law: Vivian Livingston and Henrietta Von Bever both of Mayville, Mary Livingston of Waukesha, Virginia and Edward Hansen of Mt. Calvary, Lorraine Burkholder and Gordon and Sue Mueller both of Fond du Lac, and Norma and Tom Jaster of Theresa, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his son Scott on Sept. 16, 1982 and two brothers: Harry and Robert. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday April 12, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Immanuel Trinity Family life Center at 20 Wisconsin American Dr. with Rev. Shari Routh officiating with family committal at a later date at the St. John Cemetery in the Town of Forest. Friends may call on Friday April 11, 2008 at the Twohig Funeral Home at 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac from 3:30 PM until 8:00 PM and at the church on Saturday from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM. Memorials may be directed to the Agnesian Foundation or Immanuel Trinity Building Fund.
