Harry L. Knoelke, 80, formerly of Campbellsport went to his heavenly home with his family at his side on Tuesday April 29, 2008 at Rolling Meadows Nursing and Rehab in Fond du Lac. He was born in Milwaukee on March 5, 1928 the son of the late Gustave and Augusta Albrecht Knoelke. On July 1, 1950 he married Lorraine Schlender in North Prairie. He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War serving in Korea. Harry worked in the construction business in the Campbellsport area, for Joe Zahn and Son and at the recycling center for the Town of Auburn. He was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Dundee and he served as Town of Auburn Chairman for a number of years. Survivors include his daughter Bonnie (Joseph) Zahn of Campbellsport, his grandchildren Michael, Traci, Lisa and Stephany, his sister Marion Tolonen of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his wife Lorraine and his son Barry. Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 3 at 3:00 PM at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Dundee, W494 Elm St. Campbellsport. Rev. Richard Schliewe will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from Noon until time of services at the church.
