Sister Ramona Krapf, SSSF, 90, a resident of St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport died May 21, 2008 at the convent. She was born on July 10, 1917 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Adam and Rosalia Essman Krapf. She joined the School Sisters of St. Francis Community on June 13, 1935; professing her vows on August 12, 1937. Sister Ramona served her community as a teacher and an organist at a number of community missions. Sister Ramona is survived by many cousins, other relatives, friends and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tues. May 27 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery Campbellsport. Visitation will be Tues. from 10:00 AM until time of mass at the convent. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the School Sisters of St. Francis.
