Ottilia E. “Tillie” Jaeger nee Pierret, 89, of N1301 Rolling Dr. Campbellsport passed away on Sunday May 25, 2008 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. She was born on Dec. 9, 1918 in the Town of Ashford the daughter of the late Henry and Katherine Hall Pierret. On January 4, 1941, she married Clarence A. “Pat” Jaeger at St. Martin’s Catholic Church where they have been lifelong members. Pat preceded her in death on June 3, 2001. During their 60 years of marriage, they farmed the Jaeger homestead. Tillie was a homemaker, a waitress and a flower shop owner-Jaeger Floral in Campbellsport. Over the years she was president of St. Martin’s Ladies Sodality, a member of the Farm Bureau Women’s Organization and active in St. Martin’s Mission Group. Tillie also enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilting. Survivors include her children Sister Carol Ann Jaeger, SSSF of Menomonee Falls, Gerald (Barbara) Jaeger, Christine (Kenneth) Thelen Zehren and Claudia (Neil) Strassman all of Campbellsport, her grandchildren Nancy (Dan) Kohlman, Bill (Michele) Jaeger, Connie (Mike) Loehr, Lisa (Rodney) Weich, Wendy (Jon) Zirbel, Matt (Julie) Thelen, Pat (Karla) Thelen, Randy (fiancée Robin) Strassman, Margo (Lee) Goff, Glen (fiancée Tracy) Strassman and Angie (fiancee Chris) Strassman, her step grandchildren Stacy (Mike) Loof, Stephany (Adam) Hettwer and Marcy (Nick) Laudolff, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, her sister-in-law Marcella Jaeger, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Along with her husband Pat, Tillie was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 5 sisters, a son-in-law Math Thelen, a grandchild Tammy Ann Thelen and a great grandchild Mark Jaeger. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wed. May 28 at 11:00 AM at St. Martin’s Catholic Church, Ashford (N1271 Minnie Ln. Campbellsport), following a prayer service at 10:30 AM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be Tues. from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport and on Wed from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice Home of Hope, St. Martin’s Parish or the Christian Foundation for Children and Aging.
