Marilyn Lovering Anderson

Marilyn L. “Polly” Anderson, 83, of North Fond du Lac passed away on Sunday May 25, 2008 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac. She was born on May 28, 1924 in Oshkosh the daughter of the late Warren J. and Alma L. Kuehl Woodruff. On July 15, 1945, she married Morse A. Anderson at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in North Fond du Lac. Marilyn was a 1942 graduate of North Fond du Lac High school and she worked at Montgomery-Ward in the catalog department retiring in 1983. She was a member of Church of Our Saviour in Fond du Lac and a member of the Dreier-Bushee-Vanderboom American Legion Post #156 Auxiliary. Marilyn was also a lifelong member of the canasta card club. Survivors include her husband of 63 years Morse, two sons Thomas (Carla) Anderson of San Jose, CA and Robert Anderson of North Fond du Lac, three daughters Diane Balthazor of Fond du Lac, Mary Anderson of North Fond du Lac and Carol (Mark) Cardinal of Fond du Lac, eight grandchildren Tracey (Rado) Savov, Taryn Leffow, Amy (Andy) Hughes, Ann Balthazor, Christopher, Kaitlyn and Cody Cardinal and Brent Anderson, six great grandchildren Caleb, Luke, Hannah, Logan, Drake and Bryce, a brother Watson (Joyce) Woodruff, two sisters Judy (Bill) Wallender and Maxine King, two sisters-in-law Alma Woodruff and Gladys Hintz, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a grandson Curtis, a brother Clark Woodruff and two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law Birger and Ruth Anderson and Leslie Hintz. Funeral Services will be held on Thur. May 29th at 10:30 AM at Church of Our Saviour, 363 S. Main St. Fond du Lac. Rev. Robert Rosenberg will officiate and burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park, Oshkosh. Visitation will be Wed. from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac and on Thur. from 9:30 AM until time of services at the church. Polly enjoyed life and the time she had with family and friends with her grandchildren and great grandchildren being her special joy
