Cecilia S. “Cele” Rahn, 89, of Eden passed away Friday June 6, 2008 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home with her family gathered around her. She was born in Chicago, IL on Aug. 3, 1918 the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Galinas Pranskunas. On Oct. 25, 1948 she married Miles S. Rahn in Chicago. Cele was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She worked at Sears-Roebuck in Chicago prior to her marriage and then farmed in the Town of Eden with Miles raising sheep and cows. Cele was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eden and now a member of Shepherd of the Hill Parish. Survivors include her husband Miles, her son Denis (Nancy) of Eden, her grandchildren Jennifer (Lee) Wilke of Eden and Christopher (spec. friend Megan Fichtner) Rahn of Eden, her sister Wanda Mack of Fond du Lac, her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Ruth Pranskunas of Campbellsport and Steve and Mary Rahn of Kewaskum, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Raymond. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday June 8 at 8:00 PM at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church W1562 Hwy B Eden. Rev. Joseph Juknialis will officiate with family committal services at Ledegeview Memorial Park on Tuesday. Friends may call on Monday June 9 at the church from 3:00 to 7:30 PM.
