Michael “Mike” Haza, 54, of Campbellsport passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday June 29, 2008. Mike practiced law in the Campbellsport/Fond du Lac area for the past 26 years. Mike loved Campbellsport and its people and was an active member of St. Matthew’s Church, the Campbellsport Lions Club, Cougar Club, Campbellsport Jaycees, and the Campbellsport Chamber of Commerce. Mike was a very giving person always going the extra mile for anyone asking for help. He was always known for his great love of golf and in recent years hunting. Mike was born in Milwaukee on Dec. 22, 1953 the son of Dr. Bernard J. and Margaret Lillis Haza. Mike grew up in Appleton, attended Xavier High School, then UW-Milwaukee and Thomas Cooley Law School in Lansing, MI. Survivors include his children Michelle, Cally and Tayler, his mother Margaret Haza of Savannah, GA, his siblings, James, Marta, Patricia and Carolyn, his girlfriend Tammy Patchett-Wirkus and her son Ryan, his former wife Tina, his mother-in-law Toni Guenther, other relatives and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Dr. Bernard James Haza and his father-in-law and law partner Arthur Guenther. In lieu of a traditional service, a casual gathering to celebrate Mike’s life will be held on Thursday July 3rd at Auburn Bluff Clubhouse, N2019 N. River Rd. Campbellsport from 3 to 7 PM.
