Raymond J. Schuh, 84, of Eden passed away Sunday August 24, 2008 at his home with his family gathered around him. He was born on January 23, 1924 in Milwaukee, the son of the late Mathias and Louise Eberhardt Schuh. On September 26, 1953 Ray married Patricia A. Netko at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eden. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WW II. Ray was employed at Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac retiring in 1991. He was a charter member of the Eden Lions Club serving on the Board of Directors, a former member of the Eden Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Parish. Ray had a passion for fishing and his spirit will live on with the Long Lake Fishing Club in which he was a founding member. Survivors include his loving wife Pat, his son David and his wife Laurie Schuh of Fort Collins, CO and their children Daniel Candee-Schuh, Matthew Schuh and Nicole Schuh, his daughter Kathleen and her husband Dennis Krug of Fond du Lac and their children Amanda and her husband Eric Henry, Kathryn Krug and her fiancé Joshua McCormick, Megan Krug and James Krug, his mother-in-law Marie Rodgers of Eden, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by four brothers Karl, Ty, Gregory and Eugene and one sister Louise Schiek. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday Aug. 27, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 Hwy B Eden with Rev. Joseph Juknialis officiating and burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Eden. The family will greet friends and relatives on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until time of mass at the church.
