Donald William Narges

Donald W. Narges, 89, of Campbellsport passed away on Friday Aug. 29, 2008 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. He was born on Dec, 18, 1918 in Fond du Lac, the son of the late Charles and Marie Jandre Narges. Don was a graduate of Winnebago Lutheran Academy. On June 25, 1941 he married Helen M. Blumer at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Dundee. Don served in the U.S. Navy during WW II stationed on the U.S. Jesse Owens in the Pacific. He drove milk truck for a number of years, then started Waucousta Dairy Equipment and then operated Narges Products in Dundee until retiring. Don had a passion for flying which he did all his adult life and he was a member of the Flying Farmers. He was also a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Dundee, the McFarland American Legion Post #0534 and also served on the Church Board at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church as treasurer in Campbellsport. Survivors include his daughter Sandra (Dennis) Malenke of Campbellsport, his son Charles (Mary) Narges of Campbellsport, his grandchildren Brent (Sarah) Narges, Christy (Mark) Madigan, Tasha (Joseph) Wall, Tania (Marcus) Mumm, Talia (Chad) Bloedel and Dion Malenke, his great grandchildren Andrew, Madeline, Lauran, Cormack, Cyna, Tierney, Eli, Cole and Katia, his step grandchildren Gina (Brian) Schneider and Rocco (Michelle) Marchionda, his step great grandchildren Sophia, Griffin, Owen and Nadia, his brother Howard “Sam” (Phyllis) Narges of Waucousta, his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Jennie and Andrae Justmann of Waupaca, Virginia Leick of Watertown and Dixie and Kenneth Neldner of Kewaskum, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Don was preceded in death by his wife Helen on Dec. 16, 2004, a sister Shirley Justmann and a brother Harold Narges. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Sept. 2, 2008 at 1:30 PM at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Dundee (W494 Elm St. Campbellsport). Rev. Richard Schliewe will officiate and burial will follow in Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Waucousta Lutheran Grade School or Winnebago Lutheran Academy.
