Marion L. Roehl 87, of Fond du Lac formerly of Campbellsport passed away Sunday Sept. 7, 2008 at the Lakeview Estates in Fond du Lac. She was born on January 8, 1921 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Arnold and Erma Schwartz Bechler. On September 20, 1941 she married Vilas Roehl at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dundee. He died on February 18, 1978. She married Norbert “Turtle” Flitter on December 22, 1989 in Campbellsport. He died on July 10, 1993. Survivors include her son Roger (Mary) Roehl of Campbellsport, 2 step children: James “Fuzzy” (Janice) Flitter of Campbellsport and Barbara (Roger) Pierrett of Albequeque, NM, two grandchildren: Ron (Brenda) Roehl of Fond du Lac and Cheri (Kevin) Falk of Lomira, four step grandsons, 5 great grandchildren, one step sister Adell Teschendorf, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands Vilas and Norbert, her parents, one son Jerome, her step mother Bertha Bechler, 2 brothers LeRoy and Jerome and step sister Betty Schmidt. Funeral services will be held on Thursday Sept. 9 at 7:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home 109 W. Main Street in Campbellsport. Rev. Stuart Zak will officiate and burial will follow on Wednesday 10 AM in Ledgeview Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport.
