Hilary M Schrauth, 71, of Campbellsport went to his heavenly home on Sunday Sept. 21, 2008 at his home with his family gathered around him. He was born in the Town of Ashford on Nov. 12, 1936 the son of Alphonse and Stella Weis Schrauth. On April 30, 1960 he married Joann Wettstein at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Armstrong. They farmed together in the Town of Ashford until 1996. Hilary then worked at Cadens Kennels & Hunt Club and at Wild Wings Sportsman Club. He was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Campbellsport and he liked to go Up North deer hunting. Hilary enjoyed being with people especially the time he spent with family and friends most of all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include his wife Joann, his children Patrick (Lynn) of Fond du Lac, Michael (Kim) of Campbellsport, Diane (Jason) Barnes of Clearwater, FL, Don (Julie) of Campbellsport, Ed (Angel) of Lomira and Denise (Joe) Fryman of Fond du Lac, 18 grandchildren, 2 great granddaughters, his sisters Armella (Art) Zahn of Campbellsport and Madonna (Carl) Jensen of Pelican Lake, his mother-in-law Hazel Wettstein of Fond du Lac, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Bill and Pat Wettstein of Eden, Jim and Lori Wettstein of Oregon, George and Joan Wettstein of Eden and Marian and Gene Venturini of Campbellsport, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister and brother-in-law Anna Mae and Richard Grede, his brother Gregor and his father-in-law Ray Wettstein. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wed. Sept. 24th at 10:30 AM at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Campbellsport. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday Sept. 23 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport and on Wed. from 9:30 AM until time of mass at the church.
