Sister Ann Schlaefer, SSSF, “Sister Constantia”, 86, passed away on Saturday Nov. 8, 2008 at St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport. She was born on Sept. 9, 1922 in Montello the daughter of the late Nicholas and Marie Ullrich Schlaefer. She joined the School Sisters of St. Francis on June 13, 1941 and professed her vows on June 21, 1943. Sister Ann served her community as a musician at various community missions. Sister Ann is the beloved sister of Dolores Schlaefer of Montello, Genevieve Schlafer of Montello, Bernard Schlaefer of Wauwatosa and Robert Schlaefer of Montello. She is further survived by the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 67 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wed. Nov. 12, 2008 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery Campbellsport.
