Sister Carolann Ripperger, SSSF, “Sister Felixina” 104, passed away on Friday January 16, 2009 at St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport. She was born on Sept./ 21, 1904 in Lacona, Iowa the daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline Bauer Ripperger. She joined the School of St. Francis on June 24, 1920 and professed her vows on July 2, 1924. She served her community as a homemaker at various community missions. Sister Carolann is the beloved sister of Martha Dreyling of St. Paul, MN and James Ripperger of Chariton, IA. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 88 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wed. Jan. 21, 2009 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery Campbellsport.
